I am spent. I feel really emotional but it's not really a crying emotional. It's just a "WTF, Katniss, it's about TIME you woke the hell up and joined this Peeta Party, you moron with a great shot" kind of emotional.
I mean COME ON. WTF did she THINK Snow was doing to Peeta?!? Giving him tea and crumpets?!? Of COURSE he was going to beat him senseless whilst Katniss is frolicking around in her firegirl outfit and pointing fingers at the Capital. Sometimes she is just so dense. Grow a BRAIN,
Oh, OH, OHHHH!!! And NOW...poor GALE has gone in to save PEETA while Katniss is sleeping her pretty little cry off. Haymitch just told her. And she's probably about to freak (I haven't turned the page yet.) But what did you EXPECT?!? The man does EVERYTHING for you and you show him NOTHING. No love. No affection. Katniss does not deserve Gale and she most CERTAINLY does not deserve Peeta. Oh no she does not. She deserves to sit in a bunker in District 13 for the rest of her life, shooting her arrows and singing her favorite song in her head: "Me me me me ME me me me ME me me me MEEEEE!" Because it's all about HER and HER problems. She doesn't give a rat's ASS about Gale..."Oh gee, I walked past his bed last night on my way to bother Finnick...so he must be mad...but I'm too important to be captured...so eff him, I don't have time for his shiz right now."
And what is going to KILL me is that they're going to rescue Peeta and she's going to be all "Ohhhh Peetaaaa" and once he's OK (from weeks of TORTURE because of HER) she's going to be all "Hmmm...Gale and I haven't spent any time together lately. How DARE he look at the girl who serves him his broiled turnips!" And I am going to lose MY OWN MFing TURNIPS on m'damned shoes. Mmmm Hmmm. And I don't even LIKE turnips.
OK I have to go. I have SO much to say and SO much I've highlighted in both my iPad and Kindle. But I have a house with no kids as they are up the street playing and I HAVE to read while it's semi quiet around here!!!!!!

I just can't say a thing......I don't want to mess up the rest of the book for you. But I was so confused with Katnip's behaviour as well. I think we need to remember where she came from, what she came from and how old she is.
That's all I'm sayin'.
